How it works

You pick the wishes. Your friends plan the rest.

Say it, then check it

Send the Piñata WhatsApp number a voice note, a screenshot or a shop link. You check the draft before it goes on your list, or type the wish in yourself.
Friends plan it

A friend claims a gift, or a few friends pool money behind one buyer. They pay each other the way your group already does; Piñata keeps the tally and holds no money.
Hand it over

Friends write messages for a gift card. Someone hands it over in person or shares it themselves. Piñata never sends it.

Questions

Does Piñata hold our money?: No. Friends pay each other directly. Piñata only records who pledged what and who has marked it paid.
Which currencies does it use?: US dollars by default. You can price each gift in rand, euro or pounds instead, and a pool always uses its gift's currency.
Do I need to install an app?: No. It opens in the browser from the link in your WhatsApp group. Friends need to be on the circle's invite list.
Does the AI decide anything?: No. It turns a voice note, photo or link into a draft, and a person confirms it. You can switch each AI feature off in Settings.
